Maneesh K. Gupta, M.D.

Maneesh K. Gupta was born and raised in Lafayette, LA. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and earned his B.S. degree in Microbiology. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2010.

Dr. Gupta completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He then completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Gupta is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by The American Board of Internal Medicine.

Upon completion of his training in 2016, Dr. Gupta joined the Ochsner Health System and practiced Gastroenterology in Slidell, LA. He then moved to Denver, CO and joined a private practice for 2 years prior to moving back to Lafayette.

Dr. Gupta treats a variety of gastrointestinal diseases with a special interest in the endoscopic management of acid reflux as well as biliary endoscopy. He currently provides services for patients at Acadiana Endoscopy Center, Lafayette General Medical Center, and Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. He maintains an active membership with the American College of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Gupta enjoys traveling, cooking, and is an avid supporter of UL Ragin Cajun athletics. He lives in Lafayette with his wife, Amanda Gupta.
