Thank you for entrusting us with your care. This remains an honor and privilege.
Our community and our nation are facing the challenges of the COVID-19 virus. Acadiana Gastroenterology Associates and Acadiana Endoscopy Center are closely monitoring this unprecedented event and are adjusting to the constantly updating advisories and recommendations of the CDC, the state and federal government, as well as our subspecialty societies.
We are focusing on communication with our patients and fellow healthcare providers to keep them up-to-date on our availability of gastroenterology services in this challenging environment.
Our clinic is conducting business as usual with the same office hours. High-level screening of patients entering our clinic and endoscopy center as well as high-level screening of our working staff is practiced. Our goal is to remain fully operational in the clinic, hospital, and in our outpatient endoscopy center within the mandates of federal and state regulations and the CDC and GI Society guidelines relative to patient safety and procedural acuity.
We will now offer Telemedicine Visits to our patients and we feel this will help provide streamlined and uninterrupted care.
Our clinic and ambulatory surgery center protocols were put in place at the beginning of this week for screening patients according to the CDC guidelines to ensure patients and staff the highest level of safety.
